Then the postman delivered a DVD of our performance at the Borneo Jazz Festival back in May and I got to relive a great time watching the DooDaddies. Bolgart is having a Blues Festival in October. Looks like the DooDaddies will be performing , along with a number of great local and interstate acts. Looking forward to another festival on the WA calendar. Check out the page www.facebook.com/westozbluesfest
I have been listening to Eddie Cleanhead Vinson- Vocalist and Alto Sax player from the 40s with his terrific swinging band. Recently I really enjoyed playing harp with Eddie, Stevie Wonder and Kim Wilson all in my garage ( they don't know about this ! ) one rainy afternoon. Still loving the harp !
I look forward to catching up with Dave , Chob and John at our next gig on July 24 at the Hilton Park Bowling Club 8.30-11.30pm. Be great to see you there too!
Cheers, Dave
