Been playing the harmonica since I was 18.  A friend gave me one and as I was travelling was perfect instrument to carry. Was advised to listen to Sonny Terry at early stages, which I did luckily enough.

Played in a few blues/rock bands in Wongan Hills and Shark Bay. Was living in Kalgoorlie for awhile playing up there as much as could. Moved back to Perth in 2013 and got the chance to play with Rockabilly band The Continentals which lead to associations with Shotdown from Sugartown/Sugartown Two playing blues and Billy Higginson doing country music. Also now playing with The Kaos Train a blues rock band with guys I’ve known for years. I'm grateful for these opportunities being involved with some great Perth musicians, who are so talented.

I still believe I’m learning and having been self taught I’m open to improve my technique and style. I’m a big fan of Matt Taylor as nobody sounds like him and I believe in having your own style. Very open to playing in different genres of music other than blues, harmonica has a place everywhere. I like seeing harmonica involved in modern music such as hip hop and beatboxing it keeps it relevant to the younger generation too.

Perth is a great town to play harmonica and has some top notch players in it which inspire me to improve.
